Gears of War

Around a month ago I started Gears of War on Xbox 360 and I must say I got sucked in real hard.. For a while I was drawn to the TV (where I normally don’t spend much time), and saw monsters in my dreams.. until the final scene where I with passion screamed to my boyfriend “When does the next version come to stores???” And after compliting the game we started battling each other…

But one thing I could figure out during this month of craze, was how to use the Bow… And today I found one who obviously has solved that problem…

Snow in Denmark

Just a picture from the 5 days of winter in Denmark. We waited a long time for the winter to come - but when it came, it sure did do it well…..

The fascination of strange things

I have a huge fascination of anything I don’t really understand. And the hard work laid in making this is really an example of a community and a culture I watch amazed and with my brain cells spinning confused around…

I found it on a girl gamers blog - see the insomnia princess here

Why do people use twitter?

This is really just my totally lack of understanding about why people use twitter? I don’t get it? My mom would properbly love it (so would I if it  meant that  I should start every (And I do mean every) conversation with  “what have you been doing the last week? I have not been able to reach you at all? You work too hard, don’t you”).

Elsewhere I don’t really get it? Anybody out there???

Very explicit drive to web

On adrants today a case from Colle+McVoy shows  how TV ads from the Minnesota State Lottery are directly used to drive the audience online and start interacting with the content. It’s still TV, but the main objective (and interaction) will take place online. It’s interesting and a way to make TV meet online ads.. Will it work? Or are the two media consumption situation too differenten. It will be interesting to know the recent numbers on how many people actually sits with a laptop while watching TV.

Urban Spam

outdoorJust found this video on The Hive and think it’s quite funny and challenges out business alway creative view on Outdoor media - Is it urban spam or are people entertained on their walk through life?

Joining the choir

I (also) think this is very very nice work from Saatchi - Is it real or not? Judge yourself! Either way - it’s a rarely good piece of work and starts setting the scene for viral video in Denmark. Looking forward seing the results…

creators vs audience

I just read an article claiming that all the user-generated-content online was generated only by a small mass of 1 %. The total sphere could be parted in 1% heavy contributors, 9% light contributors and the rest of us is just watching, reading and taking passivly part in the UGC online…

Interesting - but is it really true? And more interesting why? But if this is true Gladwell law of the few will again be a interesting thing to discuss, ’cause who has the power in this unbalanced, democratic web-universe.

mediablog

Just wanted to recommend my co-worker Daria’s Blog on media - it’s inspirering and fun, so enjoy! Here you go.

Super Bowl on YouTube

Now it’s running. How’s the User- generated-ads doing? Right now it looks pretty damn good for “me and you” being ad agnecy of the year.

This moment this one is leading the race….
